with a few fountains and landscape being developed.Apart from its beautifully
designed landscapes, this place has high spiritual significance due to world’s
largest meditation pyramid on its campus.
The Maitreya Buddha Pyramid has a capacity to accommodate 5000 people
for practicing intensive meditation. The pyramid of side 160ft and height 102ft is constructed on the principles of Giza pyramid oriented in the north south
direction. The Pyramid consists of four faces with the ‘golden angle of
inclination’ at 51° 51’ 51″.The four faces of the pyramid representing the
elements of nature air, water, fire and earth have been painted with murals
representing them. A short tutorial is provided as to how to meditate before
entering the pyramid. Inside the pyramid is an overwhelming huge space. At the
center of the pyramid is a staircase leading to a room called King's Chamber,
located at the center at a height of 34ft. Meditating at 1/3rd
the height of the pyramid, where the maximum energy is concentrated is awesome. The underground of the pyramid contain bloated sculptures from Budha's life. Small kids are not allowed inside the pyramid as it is a silence
zone.
The place popularly called
Pyramid Valley is a peaceful, quiet place to reconnect with nature and enjoy
quality time with loved ones, friends and our self. There is plenty to walk
around, with smaller pyramids, and nice landscaping and running water. A huge
statue of Lord Buddha in a yogic posture sits in front of the pyramid in the
lotus pond. The place is very calm and nice music is played around. The path
behind the pyramid leads to Shiva temple. Free lunch and dinner is provided
every day and there is a donation box to contribute for food.
