Maitreya Buddha Pyramid, Pyramid Valley, Bangalore


                                           Brahmarshi Patriji has established International Meditation Center near Bangalore in the Kebbedoddi Village, Ramnagar District. It is one of the quietest, pleasant and an ideal place to hang around in the afternoon heat. Some scheduled meditations will be ongoing on some days. Accommodation facility is also available for those who wish to stay and meditate. The place boasts of self-sustainable environmental system with an amazing wonderful meditation center and a very beautiful campus. The campus is still developing with a few fountains and landscape being developed.Apart from its beautifully designed landscapes, this place has high spiritual significance due to world’s largest meditation pyramid on its campus.
                                        
                                               The Maitreya Buddha Pyramid has a capacity to accommodate 5000 people for practicing intensive meditation. The pyramid of side 160ft and height 102ft is constructed on the principles of Giza pyramid oriented in the north south direction. The Pyramid consists of four faces with the ‘golden angle of inclination’ at 51° 51’ 51″.The four faces of the pyramid representing the elements of nature air, water, fire and earth have been painted with murals representing them. A short tutorial is provided as to how to meditate before entering the pyramid. Inside the pyramid is an overwhelming huge space. At the center of the pyramid is a staircase leading to a room called King's Chamber, located at the center at a height of 34ft. Meditating at 1/3rd the height of the pyramid, where the maximum energy is concentrated is awesome. The underground of the pyramid contain bloated sculptures from Budha's life. Small kids are not allowed inside the pyramid as it is a silence zone.                                                                   
                                                          The place popularly called Pyramid Valley is a peaceful, quiet place to reconnect with nature and enjoy quality time with loved ones, friends and our self. There is plenty to walk around, with smaller pyramids, and nice landscaping and running water. A huge statue of Lord Buddha in a yogic posture sits in front of the pyramid in the lotus pond. The place is very calm and nice music is played around. The path behind the pyramid leads to Shiva temple. Free lunch and dinner is provided every day and there is a donation box to contribute for food.
