Sculptural representations of Ganesha as per Sritattvanidhi

Krishnaraja Wodeyar III, the Maharaja of Mysore, was a great patron of art and learning and was himself a scholar and writer. Sritattvanidhi ("The Illustrious Treasure of Realities") is an iconographic treatise of divine figures in South India written by him.

The treatise list the thirty-two forms of Ganesha with the painting, accompanied by a short Sanskrit meditation verse (dhyanasloka), written in Kannada script. The dhyanasloka list the attributes of each form. Though the text says these meditation forms are from the Mudgala Purana, they differ from the ones mentioned in Mudgala Purana.

The sculptural representations of these thirty-two forms of Ganesha can be found in the temples at Nanjangud and Chamarajanagar.
